Kriadydragon wrote a story called 'Off The Court' for First Monday. It's the one and only Gen story I have ever seen for First Monday and the character Julian Lodge (portrayed by Joe Flanigan).

Although I never saw the series myself, (I really wish they would release it on DVD) I have seen out-takes on Youtube and now I really, really want to read some First Monday (Julian) H/C Gen fiction. Pleeeeeeeease! Anybody out there willing to flex their writing muscles on a short (or long *g*) First Monday fic for kicks?

I know this time of year is very busy for fic writers but I figure it couldn't hurt to throw this out there in the hopes that at some point in the near future someone will have the time and interest in giving this a shot. *shrug*

I do have a recommendation. Even if you know nothing about this show, you will enjoy 'Off the Court' by Kriadydragon. It's awesome, as is all of her stories. Be sure to take a look at the two clips that go along with the story in the author's notes.

(First Monday was a series about the Supreme Court and those who worked in and around it. I know it (First Monday) sounds dull, but who knew wormhole physics could be so interesting? (Stargate) *wink* That's where fanfic writers come in :D

The holiday season has arrived and despite the daily stresses, I hope everyone has a chance to spend some time with friends and family to reflect on all the things we have to be thankful for.

Okay, so leafiesgirl, bless her heart, has convinced me to pull myself up by my bootstraps and get back on the proverbial horse. Thus, the three eggs below. Yes, there are three, seperate/individual eggs, even though two are the same color. And yes, I 'meant to do that' LOL. Lets hope this works out! :)

I apologize I thought I was going to get to catch up on my f-list and responding to various posts and stories out there. I've only had the chance to jump on long enough to make a couple of brief posts. I haven't really gotten to read anything since a few days before Christmas and I think I'll be able to go back and get caught up here in the next couple of days. :)

Okay, this may seem of little consequence, but my curiosity it piqued.  Sheppard and team, along with most of the military contingent, carry the P-90.  It an easily recognizable weapon.  However, I've noticed that John and various other marines carry a different weapon from time to time.  It's a much larger or higher caliber weapon.   I'm sure they must have referred to it at some point and I just missed it. 

I know, I know, it seems silly, but it's starting to annoy me that I can't figure it out.  John carried both weapons at different points on Todd's ship in the episode, 'Infection'.  The first trip to the ship he had the P-90.  When they returned with Lorne and the Marines he was carrying the larger weapon.  Does anyone know what it's called?

 

Does Anyone know where to get First Monday episodes? (I'd buy it, but I don't think its out on DVD) I can't seem to find anything on it, other than it aired in 2002 on CBS with about 13-15 episodes. Unsurprisingly, my 'fu has failed......any information would be greatly appreciated. :)

I have two hatchlings that could use some help growing up. At this rate the little pink one isn't going to make it. It still doesn't have its wings and its running out of time. Any clicks would be appreciated :)
